Contractors
Contractors are self employed and provided to you through a Contract for Service agreement. You decide the tenure of the contract and provide direction for the contractor during the assignment. Contractors are generally engaged to:

Project Manage a particular piece of work that has overloaded current resources.
Provide specialist skills to assist the organisation and up skill staff.
