Sherena has over 13 years recruitment experience across New Zealand and the UK. She has been able to take her strong customer focused attitude and channel that toward matching talent with opportunities. Sherena has developed a strong sense of partnership with her candidates and clients and enjoys taking a more consultative approach to understanding business needs and using a tailored approach to talent sourcing. Having worked across core technology and ICT procurement, Sherena has experience in project recruitment, resourcing new teams from scratch as well as delivering talent to established teams.

My father was contracted to coach the NZ badminton team for the 1974 Commonwealth Games.  I grew up in Napier (Ahuriri) from the age of four and commute between Bay View and Wellington with my wife Tina.  My parents who are now in their 80s, still live there. After graduating from Massey University in 1991, I worked in the Wellington recruitment industry for 30 years, initially at Morgan and Banks from 1991 to 1996 then Momentum from 1996 to 2003 as an Organisational Psychologist.  In 2004 I established H2R Consulting with some of my former colleagues initially as an organisational development consultancy then evolving into the full service recruitment agency it is today. I feel privileged to be part of the H2R whanau who have a culture of respect, teamwork and support.  Many of our whanau have been with H2R for well over 10 years and a few are the same people I started out in my career with over 30 years ago.

Liz has been with H2R since early 2005.  She was our first finance team member and moved into being our Finance Manager before heading off to have two children in between.  Liz's in-depth knowledge of H2R's systems, processes and history makes her an invaluable asset to the team.  She oversees our temp payroll, All of Government reporting and H2R Technology finance function.

Sharyn has 25 years IT recruitment experience working in Wellington, London and most recently Sydney.  She has worked with a few of the H2R team in previous organisations and now heads up our H2R Technology business in Auckland.  Sharyn's core specialisation has been recruiting a broad range of senior level permanent and contract IT roles.  She has worked with a broad range of clients within Government, private and vendor industry sectors.

Tina was appointed as a Director across both H2R Consulting and H2R Technology in March 2021.  She has over 25 years experience in the recruitment industry and was a founding Director of one of New Zealand's largest specialist IT recruitment companies before selling it to publicly listed AWF Madison in 2017.  Tina's role at H2R will be to provide support to the growth and development of H2R Technology as well as being involved in specific projects across the H2R group.

Jaymin joined the team in July 2022 and has a has a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Management and Public Policy. He has spent a year at H2R Technology specialising in end-to-end Candidate Management and Client support. Jaymin has a background in both the public and private sector across retail, professional services, and the insurance industry. Recently Jaymin has moved into a Recruitment Consultant role supporting Digital, Technology, and Project based roles partnering with both Public and Private organisations. With a genuine passion for supporting and building relationships with both candidates and clients Jaymin will find the right talent for your organisation’s needs. Outside of work Jaymin is usually found in the outdoors be it hiking, fishing, or getting a workout in.

I have a 20-year technology and digital recruitment career in the Wellington market. My passion is people and technology and ensuring that my customers are receiving the best possible talent, whilst ensuring a close working partnership to ensuring the right resourcing planning and strategies are used to ensure they deliver on their business objectives and goals. My customers, both candidate and clients remain at the forefront of my thought process when delivering any recruitment service. Something I continue to evolve and improve on.

Torban joined the H2R whanau in March 2024.  Originally from Blenheim, Torban moved to study in Wellington and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University - double major in International Business and Management.  Torban’s passion for working with and helping people lead him to a career in recruitment. Currently a Candidate Consultant; he manages the end-to-end candidate experience, from sourcing and interviewing to preparing candidates for success in IT roles.   Outside of work, Torban can often be found at the gym, playing tennis, hanging out with friends.
