About the Role:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our client on a part-time, permanent basis.

This role offers the flexibility of working 3 days per week, with one day from home and the remaining days based in the city.

As a key player in the organisation, you will manage financial operations, process payroll, and ensure compliance within the construction industry. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll provide actionable insights, support ongoing projects, and contribute to driving the financial success of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Overseeing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
  • Managing payroll for a team of 30 employees.
  • Performing bank and account reconciliations.
  • Managing company expenses and maintaining compliance with policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to provide clear and actionable financial insights

About you:

  • Proven experience in accounting, degree in accounting or similar field is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
  • CA or CPA qualification is highly regarded.
