Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and making a difference? Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team and take charge of managing and growing their partnerships. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in maximising  donations and intentional gifting while delivering exceptional service to their valued clients.

About the Role

Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running as this role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who is comfortable with both account management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Proactively manage donor partnerships to maximise surplus and gifted donations.
  • Create and execute a structured donor call cycle (in-person, online, and phone) to enhance engagement and understand donor needs.
  • Leverage insights from donor interactions to inform business decisions, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for donors.
  • Drive new donor development efforts, including cold calling and identifying new opportunities.
  • Focus on securing gifted donations alongside surplus food contributions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to craft targeted donor communications.
  • Maintain and manage donor records in the CRM system (Salesforce experience is a plus!).

About You

We’re seeking a driven and proactive professional who is not afraid to chase opportunities and find creative ways to maximise donor engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and an ability to see opportunities others might miss.

Key preferences and skills:

  • Experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Previous sales experience with a mix of account management  and business development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strategic thinking skills, using data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • A results-driven attitude, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver outcomes.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Organised, meticulous, and persistent – someone who keeps things moving and is hungry for success.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

If you’re ready to step into a rewarding role where you can drive meaningful impact while building strong business relationships, we’d love to hear from you!
