About the Role:

Our client, a growing and dynamic financial organisation, is seeking Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract with the potential possibility of extension.

Please note you must have local experience to apply for this role. 

Based in the city, you will closely with stakeholders, coordinating the publication of insightful reports and continually optimise data collection processes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Collection & Maintenance: Capture, verify, and maintain accurate data from internal and external sources across platforms such as Dynamo, TIN, Dealroom, and Pitchbook.
  • Relationship Management: Foster relationships with external data providers, including VC firms, industry associations, and innovation agencies, to facilitate the regular exchange of information.
  • Report Coordination: Support the publication of high-quality reports, conducting preliminary checks to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline data collection and management, minimising manual effort.
  • Analysis & Visualisation: Use Excel and PowerPoint to develop clear and engaging analytics and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct audits to maintain data integrity and improve system consistency.

About you:

  • Great attention to detail for spotting discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
  • Organisation: Proven ability to manage data from multiple sources.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced), Power BI, and database tools; SQL knowledge and familiarity with APIs are advantageous.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capability to assess processes, propose efficiencies, and generate actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with venture capital or startup ecosystems is a bonus but not mandatory.
