Ko tōu ake mahi – What you’ll do
WorkSafe is looking for a proven leader to align the functions that shape regulatory and operational policy, and to drive effective and efficient interventions.  Collaborating with leaders across the organisation, you will ensure that WorkSafe’s regulatory advice is sound, and guidance and other resources are targeted and produced to a high standard creating clear consistent messaging that educates and informs businesses and workers about their responsibilities and accountabilities.  Under your guidance, you will establish effective programme management systems and service design processes to ensure teams prioritise effectively, adopting a well-planned, coordinated, approach.  Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that educational materials and guidance comply with new and existing legislation and is relevant to, and has impact within, its target audience and sectors is critical to success.
  
Ko ngā pukenga ōu – What you’ll bring

  • Experience in bringing a diverse range of people and perspectives together to deliver outcomes that require a whole of organisation view.
  • Proven experience aligning teams and establishing processes and practices that create a culture of accountability and the environment to deliver high quality, coherent programmes of work.
  • Experience implementing a service design methodology that supports rapid testing and codesign. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver products and/or services that drive sustained behavioural change at a sector level.
  • Executive disposition and a proven ability to effectively engage with and influence executive stakeholders.
  • An understanding of Kaupapa Māori and the targeted needs of Pasifika and vulnerable kaimahi.
