Joining an established project team you will be the dedicated Senior Project Manager for Business Readiness and Transition.  You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth rollout of a new system technology while driving organisational change and preparing teams for success.

Your day to day responsibilities will be varied and include:

✅ Lead Business Readiness

• Make sure teams, processes, and stakeholders are primed and ready for the big transition.

✅ Collaborate Like a Pro

• Work with Change Managers, Business Analysts, and business owners to deliver training, operational manuals, and process updates.

✅ Plan and Execute

• Manage pre-go-live and go-live activities, ensuring all business needs and stakeholder requirements are met.

✅ Champion Change

• Be the driving force for new processes, fostering alignment and collaboration across the organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage change impacts for staff, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Support business owners in redesigning and implementing processes.
• Coordinate and deliver tailored training plans, integrating vendor-provided materials.
• Lead the Business Readiness and Transition Forum to address risks, blockers, and progress.
• Own pre-go-live, go-live, and hypercare plans, ensuring a seamless transition to business-as-usual.

What We’re Looking For We’re after a visionary leader who can hit the ground running. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

�� Proven Expertise

• 7+ years leading large-scale technology transition projects with a focus on business readiness and change.

�� Exceptional Leadership

• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external suppliers.

�� Tools of the Trade

• Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.

�� Risk Management Ninja

• A track record of anticipating challenges and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

�� Certifications

• A relevant project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or equivalent experience.

This role is based in Newmarket (Auckland CBD fringe) and will be working within a close team in a hybrid working environment.
