H2R Technology is excited to be partnering exclusively with a NZ wide known Organisation to recruit a Manager, IT Operations and Service Management. 

This organisation has a presence across NZ from Auckland, Wellington, to towns across Aotearoa. 

I am looking for a leader with a proven track record of removing blockers, enabling delivery, and a history of growing and leading team across modern workplace, infrastructure, and the service desk whilst leading relationships with key vendor partners. 

The ideal candidate will have a servant leadership approach and not be afraid to provide support where required weather this is on the tools, leading incident responses, or experimenting with LLM, AI, robotics, and automation. 

Key Deliverables: 

• Vendor Management (end to end negotiation to management of delivery)
• Procurement 
• IT Service Delivery – Service Desk, Vendor, and Contractor management ensuring individuals have the training and support they need
• Project Management – Implement project quality controls, reporting, and manage risks, issues whilst removing blockers 
• Strategy and Planning – work with key stakeholders and decision makers to define key requirements and develop ideas for improvement 
• Development of IT roadmap – working with the leadership team you will contribute to the continual development of the IT roadmap and strategic plan

Experience Required:

• 5+ years IT Operation Management experience across infrastructure and workspace operations
• ITSM ITIL certified (V3 or V4)
• Intermediate experience with Azure and O365
• Demonstrated experience of project delivery (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
• Vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation experience
