Reporting directly to the CEO this iconic NZ organisation requires a National Risk Manager with broad risk management experience with very strong experience in Health and Safety. You will be able to improve and transform the national organisations knowledge, awareness and behaviour in regards to risk, especially in the H&S space.
In this role you will identify, assess and prioritise potential risks to the organisation, including health and safety, operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks. You will develop and implement risk management strategies and processes, coordinate with different departments, branches and regions to ensure understanding and compliance with risk management strategies and oversee the company’s insurance programs, including policy renewals and claims management. You will monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management efforts, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to risk management.
