A Payroll job within an organisation that really cares about people

H2R Consulting are currently looking for a Payroll Advisor with a strong track record and a high level of experience for an ongoing temp role. This position is part time (10-20 hours++).

Hours will fluctuate depending on needs and requirements in the Payroll team and could go as high as 40 on some pay weeks in some circumstances. 

This position would suit someone who is experienced yet open to working on a hourly rate basis on an on going basis well through 2025 for this organisation. If you are looking for 40 hours every week, this position is not that.

Requirements

• A payroll practitioner used to most major payroll systems 
• Capable of managing a fortnightly Pay-run 
• Happy managing a pay-run of approximately 300-350 pax on staff – combination of perm / casuals Timesheets for casuals
• Full training will be provided but would be ideal if candidate has exposure to multiple systems (Payroll Systems).
• This role involves covering questions / troubleshooting from staff and managers
• We would like someone capable and knowledgeable of NZ Payroll Legislation.

• Open to WFH in Wellington or elsewhere. Ideally Wellington for training purposes. The system is 100% remote capable.
• Pay / rate is dependant on your ability: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour TEMP (plus 8% holiday pay)
