Ko tōu ake mahi – What you’ll do
WorkSafe are looking for an experienced Principal Advisor – Education and Training to lead and shape educational interventions and guidance strategies across the organisation. You will play a key role in the success of designing and delivering evidence-based educational strategies and interventions that promote health and safety across workplaces. You will apply the latest research in adult education, instructional design, and behavioural science to create high-impact learning tools and strategies. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure our educational programs are both innovative and effective in reaching diverse audiences across various sectors.

Ko ngā pukenga ōu – What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in leading the design and execution of educational interventions, particularly for large-scale audiences.
  • Familiarity with behavioural insights and social psychology
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring others in the design and application of educational and learning interventions.
  • Previous experience working in public health or other population-focused educational roles.
  • In-depth and up to date experience in pedagogy, educational strategies, and interventions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to develop and refine educational materials to meet the needs of a wide range of audiences.
