H2R Consulting are immediately looking for a contract / hourly rate Senior Payroll Advisor for a 2 month assignment.

This role is to commence immediately, and run through for 2 months minimum. 

– based in the CBD
– wfh abilities (2 days per week)
– $70-$75.00 per hour 

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing your own end-to-end payroll portfolio. You will join a small team who process the payroll for 800 – 900 staff while ensuring the current legislative requirements are applied to each payroll. To perform this role successfully, your responsibilities will also include:

• Aspects of internal and external reporting.
• Responding to payroll queries and supporting management of the payroll inbox.
• Identifying potential risks and resolving/escalating accordingly.
• Identification of process improvement opportunities.

About You:
To be suitable for this role, you will have Payroll experience and be comfortable working with a high volume, complex pay run. Ideally you’ll have a minimum 3-5 years experience, however if you’ve at least got 2 years and demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and the right, positive personality the client is after you will be considered! Beyond this, the ideal candidate would also have the following:

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with manual payroll calculations (this is a non-negotiable that is required for this role)
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Have a can-do attitude! 
• Strong people person and a team player.
